Basic Needs Center Location Overview

The Basic Needs Center acts as a virtual and physical hub that supports students with food, housing, and financial stability resources, and connects students to other essential services. The Basic Needs Center is made up of three distinct physical spaces which provide community connection, individual care, and direct food support. Students can engage with the Basic Needs Center team in person and online through virtual access. 

Open Hours & In-Person Support

For in-person support, we have Open Hours within the Basic Needs Appointment Space each day of the week. Our team is unable to provide drop-in support outside of these hours.

  • Monday | Wednesday | Friday: 12:00pm-3:00pm

  • Tuesday | Thursday: 1:00pm-3:00pm

Basic Needs Center Locations

The Basic Needs Center’s physical spaces are located in the ASUC MLK Student Union:

  • Basic Needs Appointment Space: 72 MLK (BNorth, lower level) 

    • Stop by during our Open Hours to meet with our team. This location is also where students can go when they have an appointment with a staff member for individualized and group support.

  • Basic Needs Food Pantry: 68 MLK (BNorth, lower level)

    • Students can sign-up using our virtual line to visit our Food Pantry during operating hours to get food.

  • Basic Needs Welcome Center: 107 MLK (1st floor)

    • Join us at the Welcome Center for programs and events hosted by the Basic Needs Center.
