Rebecca Gore (she/her)

Hello all! I am a senior double-majoring in Astrophysics and Physics. My main research interest is exoplanets, but I also find galaxy evolution to be fascinating. Outside of school, I enjoy gaming and writing. I am also the person to talk to about Food for Thought’s Textbook Library!

Gia Jones (she/her)

My name is Gia and I am from the Antelope Valley, CA and Sacramento, CA. I am majoring in Conservation Resource Studies with a focus on Environmental Education hoping to serve marginalized communities. In my free time, I enjoy getting out of Berkeley and exploring new places whether that be by hiking or eating out. I am excited to facilitate this seminar because expanding environmental and wellness knowledge is my true passion!

Hi, my name is Meiyan. I’m from Guangzhou, China. And I immigrated with my family to San Francisco when I was 12. I’m currently a Junior studying Nutritional Science. I enjoy spending time and playing games with my friends, going to the park and traveling.

Connie Xu (she/her)

Hey guys! My name is Connie, and I’m going to be Food For Thought’s Marketing Lead this semester! I’m from the south Bay Area and am currently a sophomore majoring in Economics and double minoring in Statistics and Art History. Outside of class, I love hiking, exploring SF, and cooking with my housemates. I’m looking forward to helping further the connection between Food For Thought and the UC Berkeley community, especially this semester!
