All enrolled students (undergraduates and graduate students) are welcome and encouraged to apply for the internship program. No preference will be given based on academic standing.
Position Description:
Interns will work on team-specific projects that provide support for growing Basic Needs efforts. All members are expected to attend weekly 1-hr meetings with their leads and complete assigned tasks on time (number of hours of outside work per week dependent on units). At the end of the semester, interns will be required to submit a 5 page reflection essay and a completed timesheet of the hours they contributed. You can receive either 1 unit of P/NP credit (equivalent to 45 hrs per semester) or 2 units of P/NP credit (equivalent to 90 hrs per semester). The Course Control Number (CCN) will be distributed with the acceptance emails for students to enroll in the internship course. At this point in time, all teams have internship options that are both in-person and/or virtual.
