Program Overview:
Food for Thought is a series of seminars offered through the Basic Needs Center in partnership with the Ethnic Studies department. Our four core courses are offered for 2 units and letter grades. With 1 unit pass/no pass credits offered to our Field Studies classes (Berkeley Food Rx and Pedagogy).
Position Responsibilities:

Oversee point classes and areas

Facilitate class and grading of assignments

Update the syllabus

Create bCourse sites and submit end of semester grades

Attend cohort, retreats, and reflection meetings

Meet with Co-Ambassador

Develop and manage Class budget and space
Expected Time Commitment:

6-8 Hours per week
Pay:

$16.50/hour with $1 raise per year in role
