Fall and Spring Course Opportunity

Come learn about healthy eating, cooking and how to maximize your food budget in a 2 unit course titled, “NST 20, Personal Food Security and Wellness”. This course is designed to support students who may lack access to nutritious and/or enough food and has been shown to improve healthy food-related behaviors such as cooking skills and confidence and eating more vegetables.

For fall 2021 (course 27269), the lecture is offered Mondays 4-5pm. Students also enroll in one of three cooking focused labs that occur on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Spring semester days and times will be announced in October.
